Delete your Joules account

This page explains how to delete your Joules account and all data associated with it. Joules is operated by Ardo Solutions L.L.C-FZ (United Arab Emirates).

Delete your account in the app (recommended)

1. Open the Joules app
2. Go to Settings → Account
3. Tap Delete account
4. Confirm the deletion

Deletion takes effect immediately.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all data linked to it from our servers:

• Account information (email address, Apple/Google sign-in identifiers)
• Profile and body metrics (age, height, weight, goals)
• Food and activity logs, including AI meal analyses
• Meal photos
• Weight and fasting history
• Tracker and habit data (water, steps, custom trackers)
• Group memberships and leaderboard entries
• App settings and preferences

What is kept, and for how long

• Nothing is kept after deletion. Your data is removed from our production systems immediately.
• Encrypted backups that may contain your data expire automatically within 30 days.
• Independently of account deletion, meal photos are automatically deleted from our servers 14 days after upload.
• Records of purchases are retained by Apple App Store / Google Play under their own policies; we do not keep payment card details (we never receive them).

Can't access the app?

Email hello@kjoules.app from the email address linked to your account and request deletion. We will delete your account and confirm within 30 days.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual entries (meals, activities, weight logs) at any time inside the app, without deleting your account.
